The exam consists of to tests: one objective about the theoretical content and the resolution of practical cases. In order to calculate the global mark, a minimum of 5 in each exam is required.

Continguts
The first part is devoted to the concept of the interview, the historic contributions more relevant in its conceptual development, the different types of existing interviews, and the methodological aspects to be considered in order to analyze the reliability and validity of this instrument. Finally, the training of the interviewer is discussed.
The second part explains the ?know-how? of the interview. The different dimensions of the interview are analyzed: as process, as communications and as interaction, remarking their formal and technical aspects.
The third part is addressed to the ?where? of the interview, that is, to the settings in which the interview is used and applied as assessment tool, emphasizing the clinical, scholar and employment settings. Finally, we deepen in some topics that require a specific training and a more specialized use of the interview.
Objetius
To show the interview from a theoretical and practical perspective, one of the most complex assessment strategies. The interview is not only a tool in the collection of information, but also is a means in the therapeutic relationship. The main objective of the course is both to have a very good command in their technique abilities, and to educate the clinic sensibility required by this instrument.
Additionally, the several contexts and setting in which the interview is carried out as assessment strategy are exposed.
