| Microbiology as a subject should, at the same time, serve as an introduction to the field of microbiology, and provide the basic knowledge required from someone that will hold a degree in Pharmacy and that is not professionally oriented towards this field and, accordingly, is not likely to choose clinical microbiology or industrial microbiology as a subject in the later years of the degree. |
