Continguts |
The aim of this subject is to offer a revision of the current studies into scientific terminology. In the first part of the course we will analyze their historical origin, the formation of new terms, the associated semantic phenomena and the different terminological standardizations. In second part we will give examples of terminology in chemistry and medicine and their main characteristics will be analyzed, following the analysis outline given in the first part. We aim for students to achieve, this way, proper use of the basic tools of terminological work and their application to documentation. |
