| Frequency distribution, descriptive statistics, probability, sampling and estimate, hypothesis contrast (comparison test), statistics of correlation and regression. We aim to help the students make use of basic knowledge and main concepts and apply statistical instruments to Geography in their university and professional work. A final objective is that the student will be able, in the context of future projects, to make decisions in the following fields: data collection, correct formulation of work hypotheses, choice of ost appropriate statistical tools and their correct application with proper interpretation of the result |
