| OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: To distinguish with clarity the specific features of the theatrical language throughout history. To learn the essential theatrical characteristics of each period. To acquire a basic knowledge of the relationships between theatrical texts with other artistic languages and with the dramatic literature of every period. Contents 1. - Theater in Middle Ages. 2. - Scenic practices in XVI century. 3. - XVII century. 4. - XVIII century. 5. First half of XIX century. 6. Second half of XIX century theater. 7. - Theatrical renovation attempts during the first third of XX century. |
