Presentation NO SE ENSEÑA A HACER NOMINAS This optional subject is complementary to the core subject ôTheories of the labour marketö, present in the fifth course of this degree. The appropriate previous knowledge so that the student can easily follow the subjects obtained in a course of introductory character to the economy and, additionally, to know how to handle graphic analysis. The objective of this subject is to present a simple vision of the mechanisms of the formation of the wages, the different remuneration systems that exist within the framework of the theory of efficiency, at the same time explanations are offered for the different types of salary differences existing in the labour market. We also study the distribution of revenues and the salary structure in Spain. Additionally, the role of the trade unions is analyzed in the processes of salary negotiation. Everything according to those ônewö neoclassicists theoretical contributions to the operation of the labour market, keeping in mind the institutional frame in which the labour and industrial relations are developed among the different agents (workers, companies, trade unions and administration). Each topic has an additional analysis of the data that the theory is applied and of the available empiric evidence. This evidence is based on market research of Spanish work, although in some cases results of other countries of our environment are used. |
