Objectives.
To understand that biomechanics is the union of different branches of knowledge, both ôbiologicalö and ômechanicalö.
To be able to relate the different branches of knowledge, understanding that knowledge of the musculo-skeletal system is the result of the collaboration or compensation of the elements that comprise it.
To acquire basic knowledge: 1) of machanics in order to gain understanding of mechanical behaviour of the elements and tissues that comprise the human muscular skeletal system. 2) of muscular coactivation in the postures and movements of the human body in a healthy condition.
To be able to understand the changes in mechanical behaviour of the elements and tissues that make up the muscular skeletal system in the face of mechanical alteration and the repercussions this has on muscular coactivation.

Practical Program
Objectives.
º To be able to distinguish osseous items in terms of sexual dimorphism;
º To be able to distinguish inter-level osseous items in terms of the mechanical
functions.
º To acquire the basic methodology necessary to to carry out kiseniological analysis of motor dexterity of the trunk, upper and lower member.

Theory Program
Unit 1. Introduction to clinical biomechanics
Topic 1 Historic development and concept of kinesiology and biomechanics.
