| The course lasts 1 semester, with 3 theoretical classes per week and 5 clinical seminars along the semester. There are once-a-week tutoring sessions upon individual request. Practical learning with direct patient care is provided mostly in the final academic year (?Practicum?). |

| To learn: The concept of each clinical entity, its importance and prevalence in our population. The etiology and classification, the clinical features, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and the general treatment. How to establish a prognosis in each particular case, as well as to what information should be conveyed to the patient and his family. The indications and contraindications of surgical procedures. To evaluate preventive measures at the individual and community level for endocrine and metabolic diseases. |
