Met. Docent
Theory classes. Iconographic sessions. Microscopic sessions. Notebook accomplishment and presentation of practices with the study of microscopic preparations, interpretation of images of electronic microscopy and resolution of cytogenetic problems. Tutorials.
Met. Avaluació
Evaluation of theory will be made by two partial examinations. If the content of the first partial exam is not eliminated the student will have to examine of all the matter in the following call. The evaluation of the practical part will be made by means of attendance control and a final examination

Objetius
The acquisition of the conceptual understanding and necessary methodological skills to study the cell as a fundamental unit of living beings, where they carry out and integrate the unique vital functions and where pathologies are reflected, and the living being's response to environmental aggressions. The cytological concepts that make up the structural bases of cell are studied, as well as their proliferation processes and differentiation in order to gain an understanding of the subsequent tissue layer. Students will also study the basic genetic mechanisms associated to cell dynamics.
