Met. Docent
In the theoretical classes the teacher will introduce the statistical concepts and methods, with examples and exercises to be solved by the students. In the practical classes, the students will use a commercial code for statistical analysis.
Met. Avaluació
In a written final test the students will be asked to solve problems related to the theoretical part of the subject and to interpret the statistical results obtained with the statistical software used in practicals.

Objetius
It aims to teach students about the most common statistical problems and to be able to carry out a critical assessment of their adaptation to different application contexts, which, presumably, they will find in their future professional development.
Special emphasis is placed on the correct interpretation of the results of statistical analysis. In spite of the eminently practical character of the course, without abandoning a mainly intuitive presentation, students will study the statistical justification of the techniques employed.
