The general aim of teaching in applied pharmacology is that the student gains the ability to resolve the practical aspects of the use of medication, and is able to develop correctly develop the principles of pharmaceutical care. The specific objectives consist of the acquisition of knowledge applied to: ò The rational use of drugs ò The information about drugs ò Active dispensation ò Pharmaceutical indication ò Pharmacotherapeutical follow up The future pharmacist will work towards the RESEARCH, INTEGRATION AND APPLICATION of pharmacological knowledge to resolve pharmacotherapeutical information problems, advise regarding indications for the patient, within the professional exercise of the pharmacist as a drug specialist. |
