To obtain knowledge of the factors determining drug concentrations in the body: the liberation, absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs (LADME). To develop the abilities to describe and quantify LADME processes using models and mathematical approach. To obtain knowledge about physic-chemical, biological and technological factors that mediate modifying the bioavailability of the drugs administered by different routes and dosage forms. To develop suitable abilities to design, perform and to interpret the bioequivalence studies. To obtain knowledge about pharmacokinetic factors that determine the drug dosage regimes. To develop adequate abilities to establish and to change the dosage schedule in patients. |
