Introduction to the Physiology, importance in Pharmacy studies. The human body functional organization, homeostasis, basic functions of the cells, excitability, intercellular communication. Basic aspects of nervous system function. The autonomic nervous system. Blood, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and renal physiology. Hydrogen-Ion regulation. Integration systems physiology, nervous and endocrine. Skin physiology. Thermoregulation. Special attention to underlying molecular mechanisms and control mechanisms of the various functions is done. |
Objetius |
To contribute to the students the knowledge of human body’s normal function that provide him the basis to understand and take advantage of other matters (Pathophysiology, Biological Analysis and Diagnosis of Laboratory, Pharmacology, etc.) so that they can understand, besides, derived effects on the cells, organs and systems functions from the application of medicaments. To train the student in managing instruments and methods of habitual use in a laboratory, with special attention to those that explore human body functions, as well as in the interpretation of the provided information. |
