The methodology used is a task-based approach. It focuses on the communicative aspects of the language. Project work is an important aspect of the course, and ensures extensive communicative practice. Ideas for projects are drawn from authentic sources related to the tourism industry.
Met. Avaluació
Students will take a written and oral examination. The following points will be tested: reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, writing skills and oral performance. Students will either be assessed in a final examination or by a process of continuous evaluation.

Continguts
Reading and writing practice provide the necessary language and skills for the profession.
The syllabus covers a wide range of topics that develop a broad tourism-related vocabulary. 1) Topics: tickets and reservations, tourist information, guiding, marketing and tourism, future trends in tourism
2) Professional Practice: writing skills and presenting ideas.
Objetius
The purpose of the course is to focus on the professional skills and language (at the upper-intermediate level) required to perform effectively in all the sectors of the tourism industry. The main aim is to enhance linguistic competence in the field.
