The aim of these modules is to help the student understand a specific problem: Employment. They are modules of instrumental type and therefore they should contribute practical instruments for professional job. Nevertheless it is necessary to introduce some theoretical concepts about the differentation of the concept " work " and of the concept " employment ", as well as the organization of work in capitalist societies and in concrete in the advanced democratic societies, to finish analyzing the incidence of the unemployment and perspectives in our societies and more concrete in the different populational groups. It is sought, also, to develop the performance of the professional of social work, deepening in the specific functions in the different environments where programs of active policies of employment are developed. And lastly, it seems essential to introduce to the student the context of the European programs of development of employment. |
