The course will focus on the material found in the textbook. Current business-related topics are preceded by discussion questions in English, with the teacher eliciting information from learners. In pairs or small groups, learner then participate in oral and written discussion activities.
Met. Avaluació
At the end of the course, students are required to take the officially scheduled final written examination covering the topics that were dealt with in class.Class attendance and active participation in class activities will also have an impact on the overall grade.

The course includes the following topics: business hotels and sales conferences; business conferences; reports; new technologies and change; using the internet; a staff survey; offshoring and outsourcing; customer loyalty; communication with customers; corresponding with customers.
Objetius
Students taking the course need to be at least at the intermediate level in English. This course focuses on the linguistic needs of students pursing a university degree in Business Management or Economics. The class will examine the key English language vocabulary currently being used in the field. The course is designed to prepare students to understand and discuss a wide range of contemporary business-related issues.
