| Theoretic classes combined with problems classes. Practices with computers organised in groups of two persons. |
| Met. Avaluació |
| The theoretic part will be evaluated by a written exam at the end of the course (70% of the total grade). The practical part (30% of the final grade) will be obtained as the add of the laboratory work (50%) and a written exam (50%). Students will have to pass both parts to get the final grade. |

| Students will get advanced knowledge on full text databases (information retrieval systems), specially in the following topics: information retrieval models, searching and indexing, web interaction and digital libraries. |
