An analysis of the types iconographies representative of both classical and Christian traditions and their influence within the History of the Art. It is a theoretical module, where students should be able to relate the knowledge acquired in the compulsory modules; History of the Ancient Art and History of Medieval Art. By the end of the module students should be able to recognize the main types of iconographies: pictorial, sculptural and architectural, born within the classic tradition (Ancient Art) or the Christian tradition. Students should be able to analyze and identify the evolution and modification of syles throughout history, as well as to carry out conceptual reasoning of this historical-artistic journey. |
