A study of the history of Spanish cinema from the arrival of the cinematograph to Spain in 1896 up until the present day. Given the lack of knowledge about the history of our cinema existing in society, and the fact that the great majority of the students don't know either the films or their directors, the subject aims to teach students the history of our cinema, the periods, stages and most important movements, the main film directors and the most significant films that make up this history. Naturally, the program is structured chronologically and tries to show the most relevant cinema in each period and to link the film works to the historical moment and society in which they arose. |
