| Study of artistic expression in the Spanish colonies in America from their conquest to their independence. The physical and human context is studied in order to understand its differences regarding Europe. Abundance of materials and artistic techniques, as well as social and artistic circumstances characterize its development. Other aspects to be analyzed are those regarding migration of European artists and artistic merchandise, as well as the transformation of European artistic legacy that gave place to particular artistic expression in Ibero-American art. |
