Since Spanish art of the Renaissance and Baroque constitute one of the culminating periods of their history, this subject has the fundamental objective of imparting the related theoretical and practical knowledge of Fine Arts. We will look at the specific vocabulary of each technique, in the different styles, and in the iconography characteristic of each period. A second objective to observe the most relevant authors in the different geographical areas as well as their areas of influence. This is connected with a third objective that studies the most significant artistic works that serve as an example in terms of aesthetic and ideological principles and other historical events that help to contextualize the artistic objective and reconstruct the circumstances that motivated their creation, as well as an appropriate interpretation of their meaning and message.
