| Nineteenth century Spanish art, highlighting the most significant artistic contributions and their relationship within the European context. The program analyzes artists who created new guidelines and tendencies, such as Villanueva, Goya, Fortuny, Rosales, Sorolla, Anglada, Gaudí... Other important aspects of study are those that look at trends that developed over the period in the area of paintings portraying historical moments and the way of life, portraits, landscapes... etc. The course will also study a number of "secondary tendencies" and the relationship between the "official art" and different artistic tastes that developed during the period. |
