Synthesis of the History of the United States from the Revolution until the end of the XX century. We analyze the different stages of the national creation of a new country, composed by a heterogeneous and changing European emigration. Converted into a Republic and a paradigm of the democratic development, it plays an extremely fast economic and territorial growth, maintaining the slavery in the southern states, and excluding the "non-whites" from their political system. These and other questions were legally solved with the victory of the north in the Civilian War and the consolidation of the Union. From that point a vigorous capitalist development began. Amid big social, economic and political transformations, it converted the USA into a first economic world power that had already begun to design a new imperialism". In 1945, after the two World Wars, the USA succeeded Great Britain in the world leadership. Foreign policy problems became a priority in the North American history and politics. However, for the North American society, the main problem along the 20th century have been the resistance and adaptation to the corporate capitalism, the creation of a society of mass-consumption in which the ideal of "property for all", was substituted by the massive consumption and the readjustments of state and politics from the years thirty until the so-called "conservative revolution", the leader of which was the ex-president, Ronald Reagan.
