The course promotes student knowledge of current world issues, from the postwar to present times. Aspects relative to new political and social formations, economical aspects (capitalism, planned economies, globalization) and international relationships. Thereby processes generated during these decades (capitalism, democracy, communism, decolonización, Third World, globalization, new conflicts...) will be analysed in a global way so that students can recognize the scope of these changes, as well as their consequences from a historical perspective. |
