| The course's objective is to provide students with enough knowledge in order for them to possess, at the end of the course, a coherent image of the Valencian territory during ancient times, and a general understanding of its historical evolution up until the present moment. On the other hand, students should know the stages that characterized the territory's evolution, defining the factors that are common with other geographical areas and singling out their particularities. The capacity to distinguish and to evaluate the survival of the Valencian society will be an important aspect. Regards methodology, students will be introduced to Spanish and foriegn bibliography on the topic in order to become familiar with current lines of investigation. Students will acquire the necessary techniques for individual and collective investigation in order to develop specialized projects. |
