Continguts

The objective of this course is to introduce students to two fundamental methodologies of knowledge: conceptual thought and intuition. This will be studied from its roots in ancient civilization ( (Parmenides, Heracleitos, Plato y Aristotle) to modern day thought (Hegel y Nietzsche).

Programme:
1.- Intuition and concept: historical introduction and terminology.
2.- Roots of conceptual thought: Parmenides, Plato
3.-Intuition and metaphor: Heracleitos
4.- Value of Heracleitos' intuitive thought:
4.1: Plato
4.2.- Aristotle
4.3.Diogenes Laercio
4.4. Hegel
4.5. Nietzsche.
