Practice is twofold:
Orthographical and phonological analyses of English words from the Old English period to Present-day English.
Diachronic, philological analyses of selected ME and eModE texts

Objetivos/Aims of the Course
- The core matter of the 'History of the English Language' aims at the diachronic study of the English language, describing its internal evolution from its beginnings to the present day.
