The objective of this subject is to offer a general vision of the written testimonies that took place in the regions that constituted the Kingdom of Aragon from the Middle Ages on. It ranges from the introduction of Latin writing in this territory until the spread of printing. This approach aims to give the student the basic work techniques offered by the four disciplines that make up this subject. Within the wide area of knowledge developed, the contents of the subject will fundamentally focus on the following aspects: 1. Identification and reading of the most representative graphic types within the chronology embraced by the program. 2. Identification of the main types of written testimonies produced and used throughout the period of study. 3. Analysis of the internal and external characteristics of diplomatic documents.
