Novels of folkloric inspiration. 3.The novel in the Middle Ages: King Arthur and Adventure Novels. Chrétien of Troyes and Breton literature. Adventure and sentimental novels. 4. Burlesque literature: the fabliaux. Deceit, erotism, the burlesque. Morals. Comicality. OBJECTIVES: Knowledge of the evolution of medieval narrative. Narrative and thematic analysis of different modalities of writing narrative from the XII century until beginning of the XIV century. |
