OBJECTIVES:
The general objective is the basic description of the Spanish grammar in its different disciplines. This is divided into two specific objectives:
A) To define and recognize the methods and instruments of the linguistic analysis
B) To know the basic characteristics of the types of word in Spanish, as well as the problems by them outlined


SYLLABUS
1. - MORPHOLOGY: definition and units. Morphology and phonology. Morphology and syntax. Morpheme, morph and allomorphs. Lexical and inflecting morphemes. Types of morphemes: affixes, suffixes, interfixes, confixes
2. - The WORD. Approaches for its definition. Classes of words and parts of the sentence. Approaches for their classification. Grammatical form and function.
3. - The NOUN. Form. Constituent formants: gender and number. Derivation and composition. Function. Significance. The sustantivación.
4. - The ADJECTIVE. Form. Flexion. Gradation. Apocopation. Position of the adjective. Derivation and composition. Function. Significance. The adjectival use.
5. - The DETERMINANT and the ARTICLE. Concept of determinant. Upgrade and determination. The article: grammatical statute. Paradigm of the article. The neutral "lo". Function. Significance. Textual value of the articles. Other determinants
6. - The PRONOUN. PERSONAL PRONOUNS. Definitions. Classification. Nouns, adjectives and adverbial pronouns. Paradigms. "le"-ism, "la"-ism and "lo"-ism and oth
