Continguts
When concluding the course the students should:

1) know the field of performance of the Legal and Forensic Odontology and their applications as an auxiliary science of Laws.
2) know the juridical and deontological framework of the professional practice of Dentistry.
3) know the principles and methodology of the odontological test of expertise.
4) know the problems raised in connection to death and its diagnosis and to the cadaver and the changes in it occurred. Methodology for the study of the cadaver and the diagnosis of the odontological and buccal pathology that it could present.
5) know the diverse types of lesions, either fatal or not, from which a juridical interest might derive and the methodology to establish the damage caused. Know the possibilities to establish the mechanism of the death and the investigation methodology in case of lesions produced by different wounding agents and circumstances that cause lesions, as well as in the cases of carbonization and big catastrophes. Know the methodology to establish whether a lesion has been caused in life or after death.
6) know the medical aspects that arise in the Social legislation in connection with pathological processes the cause or consequence of which is related to labour.
7) Know the general principles of Toxicology and the intoxication signs shown in the stomatognatic system.
