Continguts |
1. Statistical description of macroscopic systems. 2. Entropy and temperature. Microcanonical ensemble. 3. Boltzmann distribution: canonical ensemble. 4. Gibbs distribution: grand canonical ensemble. 5. Ideal gases. Quantum and classic cases. 6. Fermion gas. 7. Boson gas. 8. Systems of interacting particles. |
Objetius |
To present the concepts and techniques of Statistical Physics. These allow to describe the physical behaviour of the macroscopic systems in terms of the microscopic characteristics of the component individualities. To discuss the different Gibbs ensembles. Application to the classic and quantum ideal gases; introduction to systems of interactive particles. |
