Students of Optics should - in this subject - learn about the equipment for ophthalmologic examination, value its results and get to know how to use refraction devices. Students should also learn about pathology applied to optic problems and specifically, to the alterations of visual refraction and those illnesses that could alter ocular refraction.
Students will also learn about the ophthalmologic pathology aggravating when it is not diagnosed in time. This subject will also focus on the problems derived from corrective prosthesis: corrective glasses and contact lenses.
