| The widespread use the personal computer has reached at the moment, is due to, largely, to the abundance of computer packages that allow the user, even lacking general computer formation, to enlarge his professional activity, mainly in the company. Likewise companies are looking for professionals, so difficult to find today, with enough knowledge in the mentioned computer packages, who are able to deal with and interpret the valuable information provided by computerized accounting, specially in the area of accountancy. This is why this course aims to develop the computer accountancy application, which will allow those who have passed the course, the challenge of becoming a key element within the company able to advise managerment in taking relevant decisions. Also, since the theoretical and practical aspects of Accounting are analyzed in other subjects in the syllabus (introduction to Accounting and others) in this course the exclusive handling of the computer application will be studies. Therefore, this course is not an Introduction to Accounting but an application of the knowledge already acquired in other subjects of Accounting in the Degree. |
