The subject Introduction to Microeconomics develops the basic concepts of the Microeconomic Theory studied in Introduction to Economy and is thought for students who possess previous notions of the above mentioned concepts. The subject describes and analyzes the behaviour of the different economic agents individually, as well as the interrelations between them in the goods and factors markets. There is a triple approach to the contents: graphical, literary and analytical - the latter shows the rigour, precision and internal coherence that characterizes the subject. The topics of the subject are divided in four thematic blocks: I. CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR: Theory of Demand II. CORPORATE BEHAVIOUR: Production and Cost III.
