This course is an introductory course to present the theory which later will develop models for game theory in the applied environments of the economy. The emphasis will be put on concepts and results. Likewise a great part of the course will be devoted to the completion of exercises and the study of diverse applications in the economy of explained concepts. Plus in short, these applications will have a relevant role the same theory: in each topic you will discuss two or three simple, but important applications in both theoretical classes but especially, in the practicals. PROGRAM: Topic 1. Introduction. SECTION : SIMULTANEOUS GAMES. Topic 2. simultaneous Games: dominant and dominated actions. Topic 3. simultaneous Games: Nash equilibrium. Topic 4. Populational Balances. Topic 5. simultaneous Games with incomplete information SECTION II: SEQUENTIAL GAMES WITH PERFECT INFORMATION Topic 6. sequential Games with perfect information. Topic 7. Negotiation. Topic 8. repeated Games: collusion. SECTION III: SEQUENTIAL GAMES WITH IMPERFECT OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION. Topic 9. sequential Games with incomplete or imperfect information.
