Throughout the course more important empiric evidence is presented in the literature on these topics and the student is trained to obtain and to analyze this empirical evidence, by means of different techniques that they use in the practical classes, directly in computer science lab.

PROGRAM:
Topic I. Growth and convergence
Topic II. Tendencies and cycles in macroeconomic variables.
Topic III. Interferences and of added supply and demand
Topic IV. Monetary politics and types of interest.
Objetius
The objective of this subject is that the student of Economics acquires the necessary knowledge of the analysis techniques that are applied to different macroeconomic problems of long-run growth, the business cycles or monetary policy by central banks.
