| The objective of this subject is the deepening of the sociological analysis of the urban systems that play a preponderant role in the current societies. The concept of urban society is analyzed so as to later deal with the city like a historical process: their formal and aesthetic aspects. Later the different theories of the urban sociology will be studied: Marx, the school of Chicago etc. will be analyzed on what is known as the urbanization process, the citizen, the housing and the collective equipment. Lastly they will study the social structure of the cities and urban planning. PROGRAM: 1. introduction: the urban society. 2. city, metropolis and urban region 3. the birth of the city and its evolution until the Renaissance. 4. the Baroque city. 5. industrialism and social space. 6. proposed modern urbanisations . 7. industrialism in the neotechnic phase . 8. the city in classic sociology. |
