| The objective of this course is to provide the student with the necessary information to understand in sufficient detail Monetary Politics and the Financial Politics, this is, the main objectives and instruments of performance of the public authorities on the financial activity and its impact on the different sectors of the economy. The curriculum of the subject is the following : 1. general characteristics of the financial system. 2. institutional and strategy of Monetary Politics in the European area. 3. instrumentation and main decisions of Monetary Politics. 4. monetary markets in Spain. 5. regulation of credit entities. 6. regulation of capital markets and specialized financial middlemen.
