The aim of this subject is to offer the students a complete, although accessible focus, of that part of modern microeconomics dedicated to the theory of demand. To achieve this, we will give intuitive explanations on the main results and we will highlight the common mathematical structures (such as the maximizing behaviour and equilibrium properties) of many economic problems. First part: economic theory of election. Second part: production and supply of economic goods. The program of the subject is: Topic 1. PREFERENCES AND UTILITY. Topic 2.
