| The objective of this subject is the historical study of the evolution of economic systems and societies. This allows the specialists in the economy to understand the mechanisms of change that intervene in the different countries better and the advances or setbacks which took place throughout the history of different regions. The knowledge of the economic present is also based on the historical knowledge of the society. PROGRAM: 1. the origins of capitalism: XVI to the XVIII century. 2. peak and decadence: Spain throughoutthe XVI and XVIII centuries 3. the industrial Revolution 4. Spanish industrialization 5. the international economy in the XIX century |
