The theoretical module leans on in the classical teaching classes. The practical module leans on in the discussion of cases (with texts and videos) as well as in the support and orientation of the class work.
Met. Avaluació
The theoretical module will be evaluated by means of a final written test.
Elements that will be evaluated in the practical module: a written work and the active participation of the studen in class.
Theorical module need to be approved to value the practical module.

Objetius
The aim of this course is to analyze the behavior of the main micro-economic organizations of the Social Economy (Third Sector) and to study their contribution to solve some of the main challenges that face the modern market economies as the unemployment, the social exclusion, the transition from the Welfare State to the Society of well-being, the production and distribution of social services, the local development, the creation of new sources of wealth in the rural areas and others.
