| The content of the subject is divided in two parts. In Penology, the penalties contemplated in the Penal Code are studied, as well as other legal consequences that, without being penalties, also consist in privations of rights. In Penitentiary Law the study is centered on the execution of the exclusive privation of freedom: penalties, subject to the penitentiary legal relationship, penitentiary establishments, internal organization, penitentiary benefits, penitentiary treatment, penitentiary work, relations with the exterior, parole and penitentiary benefits and disciplinary régime The objectives of the subject are the following : - to reflect about the application of penal principles in the sanctions - to know the content and reach of all the penal sanctions - to analyze the practical aspects of prison penalty - legal study related to penal aspects - learning the operations to determine penalty. |
