Continguts
1. - To learn the physio-pathological mechanisms of surgical processes in general, and to know the local clinical characteristics and systemic repercussion of these processes, as well as the general lines of prevention and treatment.

2. - To acquire the methods of collecting clinical information in surgical processes, in general, by means of recording an appropriate clinical history; to know the most important data in immediate physical exploration; to be able to carry out a diagnosis of suspicion by means of anamnestic data and the signs picked up in the physical exploration; and to know the necessary complementary tests to confirm or reject the initial diagnosis.

3. - To recognize the most common nosologic entities found in the environment of Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology, knowing of each of them: the causes, mechanisms, physio-pathological alterations, structural lesions, clinical manifestations, diagnosis procedure and therapy.

4. - To know the different anesthetic possibilities and their application in clinical odontological practice, as well as the decision criteria in each case; to be able to recognize the complications that can arise with anesthetic procedures and to acquire the necessary skills to carry out correct treatment, based on the different reanimation maneuvers.

5. - To value the need for respectful treatment of the patient, of true and comprehensive diagnostic information and of prognosis, and of
