Objectives: Knowledge of the basic aspects of the natural medium, of the main organic pollutants, their origin and of the principles of their diffusion and distribution in the atmosphere. Knowledge of the ways of converting and destroying organic compounds in the environment. Knowledge of toxic effects and the persistence of the main organic pollutants. Capacity to produce calculations of diffusion and distribution of organic compounds in the air, water, land and ecology, according to simple models.
