GENERAL OBJECTIVES During the practicals included in this course the student approaches preparative chemisty, the study of properties and characterization of particles in aqueous breakup of diverse compounds. .The study is centered on some of the more significant elements of the first cycle. The use of different physical techniques of characterization (visible and infrared spectoscopes, measure of magnetic susceptibilities, measures of conductivity, polarimetry etc.) together with the analysis and interpretation of the obtained data is also part of the student's training in their second cycle with of Inorganic Laboratory Chemistry. Content: BLOCK I - Co(III) Complexes (four sessions). BLOCK II - Synthesis of Ni(II) compounds of the formulae [Ni(NO2)2(NH3)4] and KNiF3 (a session). - Preparation of the oxalate compounds of the formulae [Fe(C2O4)2(H2O)2] and K3[Fe(C2O4)3]. 3H2O (a session). - The experimental study from diagrams of levels of energy of d8 ion in the field of octahedron ligands (a session). - Experimental measure of the magnetic moment of four iron complexes of the formulae K3[Fe(C2O4)3]. 3H2O, K3[Fe(CN)6], [Fe(C2O4)2(H2O) 2] and K4[Fe(CN)6] (a session). BLOCK III - Preparation and measure of the magnetic moment of the hexa-fluourophosphate [Fe(h5-C5H5)2]PF6 (a session). - Prepar |
