General objectives The objective of the course is to train the student in: - Handling of specific Physical Chemisty laboratory teams. - The completion of experiments in areas of Physical Chemistry. - The analysis of the obtained results and the deduction of logical conclusions based on the concepts already acquired. - The writing of lab reports as well as a record of project work. Practicals to be carry out. Each pair will carry out 7 practices selected from the mentioned next: 1)Part I. Transfer of the energy of excited molecules. Riboflavin. The Stern-Volmer Equation. Quantum yields of fluorescence. Riboflavin. 2) determination of the molecular weight of a polymer for measures of intrinsic viscosity. 3) oxidation of benzoyne for potassium-ferrocyanide. 4) Volt-amperometrics of the compound Fe3+/Fe2+ in chloride disolvements.. 5) Tunnel effect. 6) determination of superficial tension of hydro-ethanol compounds by means of the Ring of Nouy method. . 7) viscosity of gases. Determination of the molecular diameter and molecular weight of gases. 8) determination of diffusion potentials. 9) Chromotographic liquids . The study of photochemical oxidation of the tri-phenyllphospine 10) Espectroscopic lasers. Raman spectrum of organic molecules (nail polish remover, dimetil-sulphur oxide and carbon tetrachloride . |
